COLUMBUS, Georgia – The Columbus Police Department Property Crimes Unit reported clearing 71 cases and arresting 23 individuals during December 2025 and January 2026, resulting in a total of 205 criminal charges.
Police said the totals do not include results from three Porch Pirate enforcement details conducted in December 2025, which were reported separately.
Investigators cited a wide range of offenses, including identity fraud, shoplifting, vehicle theft, firearm theft, and financial crimes.
