COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Piggly Wiggly grocery store on 13th Street in Phenix Plaza will close after several years of financial struggle.
The store opened in the early 1970s and predates all other Piggly Wiggly locations in the area. It has operated for more than 40 years in the Phenix City community.
