SMITHS STATION, Ala. (WTVM) – Smiths Station High School has lifted a “heightened awareness” status that was initiated after a situation requiring safety protocol, according to the school and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
All students and staff were safe and accounted for throughout the incident, the school said.
