MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) knows all-too-well fentanyl is a real danger in the community.
Sheriff Greg Countryman, whose deputies have seized $318 million dollars-worth of drugs over the past five years, says fentanyl has deadly consequences and Columbus is not immune.
“In previous years, we’ve seized enough fentanyl to kill everybody in Columbus almost twice,” Countryman disclosed Wednesday. “Recently, through a drug operation, we seized enough fentanyl to kill 20,000 people.”…
