COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) -From Friday Feb 28th through Monday March 2nd, Georgia saw approximately a 1.6 cent increase in gas prices, while Alabama saw about a 0.8 cent increase. Economists say gas prices are climbing more rapidly, likely due to the Iran conflict affecting global oil markets.
‘’The fact that there are tensions with the u-s strikes that are happening it could result in disruptions in production and so that the translate over to supply chain issues and so immediately we can see that impacting gas prices.’’
