Beauregard community honors victims lost in 2019 devastating tornado

BEAUREGARD, Ala. (WRBL) — Seven years later, the pain of March 3, 2019, still lingers in Lee County. Community members honored the victims and their families of the devastating tornado that killed 23 people by holding a candlelight and prayer vigil.

A powerful tornado tore through the rural Beauregard community the afternoon of March 3, 2019, leaving behind a half-mile-wide path of devastation.
