Uptown Columbus Spring Concert Series returns with free Friday night shows

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Uptown Columbus will host its annual Spring Concert Series every Friday night in April and May, with free, public performances at two locations in the Uptown district.

April and May lineups

April concerts will take place on Broadway in Uptown Columbus. The schedule is:

  • Friday, April 3 — Maneuver Center of Excellence Military Night on the 1000 block
  • Friday, April 10 — Boot Scootin’ Boogie Nights on the 1200 block
  • Friday, April 17 — Barbarosa Jones on the 1100 block
  • Friday, April 24 — Deeper Shades of Soul on the 1000 block

May concerts will move to Highside Market in the Uptown district. The schedule is:

  • Friday, May 1 — Frankie Mincey Band
  • Friday, May 8 — Big Saxy
  • Friday, May 15 — Luke Brown & the Jubilee
  • Friday, May 29 — Relative Sound

Special event: Miracle Riders Night

A special concert benefiting the Miracle Riders will take place Friday, May 22, on Broadway in Uptown Columbus. The evening will feature a performance by Jonboy Storey.
