Columbus police arrest and remove two of their own officers following alleged crimes against children

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Officials with the Columbus Police Department announced on Tuesday the removal of two of their own officers following separate cases of alleged crimes against children.

According to CPD, officers Ulises Hernandez and Leonard Forsyth have been arrested in separateand unrelated incidents.

Officials stated that when they learned of the allegations in the cases, they immediately opened investigations. Based on the findings, the Columbus Police Department served as the arrestingagency and filed the appropriate charges…
