Two people arrested on multiple charges related to illegal drugs and stolen firearms

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department arrested two people on Wednesday on multiple charges related to illegal narcotics and stolen firearms.

The Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit obtained a search warrant for a residence located in the 9200 block of 10th St. Police conducted a search of the residence, discovering illegal narcotics, two stolen firearms and U.S. currency.

Narcotics seized included:

  • Marijuana: 85.3 grams (approximate street value: $853)
  • THC: 21.2 grams (approximate street value: $530)
  • Oxycodone: 38 pills (approximate street value: $380)
  • Cocaine: 3.3 grams (approximate street value: $165)
  • Pregabalin: 4 pills (approximate street value: $40)

According to police, the total street value of narcotics seized was an estimated $1,968. Investigators also recovered two stolen firearms and $4,097 in U.S. currency…
