PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — A four-year-old female has been shot, and three people have been arrested following an incident at Whispering Pines Apartments in Phenix City on Sunday.
According to officials, the Phenix City Police Department responded to the apartment complex located at 1200 12th Street in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a four-year-old female who had been reportedly shot in the head while sleeping.
Authorities identified the offender as Youhan Jones Jr., who was reportedly in a relationship with the victim’s mother.
