COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Meet Pamela Fair, the executive director of Safe Kids Columbus, a non-profit that focuses on the prevention of childhood injuries. Fair said her love for injury prevention started when she got hired by the Columbus Department of Health.
“They introduced me to a program called Injury Prevention,” Fair said. “And I had a chance to see families who were just devastated by something that occurred in their family, some sort of injury that didn’t have to happen. And after that, I realized there was something that could be done about that to keep others from that harm. I was hooked.”
