COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A song about miracles holds extra significance for high school senior Gabi Moore.
Gabi is staring as Miriam in Calvary Christian School’s performance of “Prince of Egypt” during multiple showings at the Springer Opera House on March 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28. As part of her performance, she sings about miracles in the song “When You Believe.” It hits close to home.
Last summer, Gabi thought her senior year would be spent worrying about the same things as many other students: homework, college applications and auditions for the school play. But things took a turn in Aug. 2025.
“The day that I found out I had [ovarian] cancer, was the same day that I actually had auditions for two shows,” Gabi explained…
