COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Happy Sunday! It has been a warm end to the weekend today, with those temperatures rising into the mid-80s.
Monday: We have another warm day on tap tomorrow. Afternoon highs will be back in the 80s Monday, but the breezy winds will help out. The sunshine will hold on tomorrow, giving us a great start to the week.
Rest of the Week: We are tracking a weak front on Tuesday and Wednesday. This front will bring a small possibility of pop-up showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, but don’t bank on a lot of measurable rain. Mostly cloudy skies are in the forecast, but the big change is the temperatures. Afternoon readings will drop back into the 70s both days.
Don’t get too comfortable with the 70s, because the rollercoaster continues. Highs will be back in the 80s by Thursday (lows in the 50s). A second front will drop temperatures into the 70s starting next weekend.
Besides Tuesday and Wednesday, the rest of our forecast will be dry. We are trending below-average over the next two weeks when compared to normal rainfall. This will likely worsen our current drought…
