COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Colon cancer has typically been seen in adults 45 and older, but now it’s showing up more often in younger adults.
According to the American Cancer Society, the percentage of colorectal cancer in adults between the ages 20 and 39 has been seeing a 2% increase since the mid-1990s. Dr. Nukala, at Piedmont Columbus Regional said diet plays a major part.
