As temperatures warm, spotty rain chances return

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A ridge of high pressure off the east coast will keep the cold fronts away through Saturday, but there will be enough moisture around to give us warmth, a bit of humidity and showers and storms in spots.

A mix of sun and clouds on this Tuesday. More sun in the morning with increasing clouds during the afternoon. Warmer with highs in the low to mid 80s. Spotty afternoon and early evening showers and storms are in the forecast, especially after 3 PM. The best overall coverage is anticipated to be south and west of Phenix City and Columbus, but still there will be lots of gaps in the rain.
