Another chance of showers and storms

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – We’re in a bit of a stagnant weather pattern this week as the warmth gets pumped in along with some moisture from the south and southeast. That will keep a chance of rain some days.

Patchy morning fog Wednesday will lead to a partly to mostly cloudy sky. The sunniest part of the day will likely come late in the morning and early in the afternoon. After that clouds will increase and hit-or-miss storms will move in with the Gulf sea breeze. Once we top out in the mid 80s, the showers and storms will start popping. Rain coverage looks to be around 30 to 40%.

Any showers and storms end by 10 PM Wednesday night. Some patchy fog is possible late. Lows early Thursday will be near 60 degrees…
