Warm weather pattern with spotty afternoon showers and storms

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Wednesday morning! We are off to another mild and partly cloudy start to the day, with temperatures near 60 degrees. Some areas are experiencing patchy fog due to the rain late last night.

By the afternoon, temperatures will climb into the low to middle 80s under partly sunny skies. Keep an eye out for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm later today, although rain coverage will remain very spotty and isolated. Tonight, expect a mix of clouds as temperatures cool to the low 60s.

On Thursday, we will get a break from the afternoon showers and storms, but temperatures will remain quite warm for this time of year. By Friday, rain chances return with spotty showers and storms…
