COLUMBUS, GA – After a rough opening round, the Lenoir-Rhyne women’s golf team soared up the standings at the CSU Lady Cougar Classic, going from eighth to third. Due to the top two teams, West Florida and Carson-Newman, tying for first, Lenoir-Rhyne earned runner-up honors.
The Bears went 325-302-305 to finish with a three-round score of 932 (+68). Carson Newman’s Madison Miller and West Florida’s Millie Thompson tied for medalist honors with a 224 (+8).
Charlotte Colley and Eve Neild tied for seventh with each shooting a 54-hole score of 229. Joining them in the top-20 was Jaya Wilkinson, who put in two rounds under 80 for a 234 (+18)…
