TODAYSaturday will be very similar to what we’ve seen the last few days with some afternoon sun, cloud will build, and we’ll see some isolated showers and storms around the area. Highs today will be in the low to mid 80s.
EASTER SUNDAYEaster Sunday is looking wet, especially early on. Rain and a few storms, nothing severe, will be entering our East Alabama counties by 6:00am. They’LL track through the Chattahoochee Valley through the morning as the front slowly makes it’s way to the south and east. By 2-3pm, most of the rain should be east of Columbus. Then the front will swing through late afternoon, and behind it more seasonable temperatures for the upcoming week.
UPCOMING WEEKThe week will will start out partly cloudy with afternoon highs in the low to mid 70s with overnight lows ranging from the mid 40s to low 50s. Wednesday, we start to see more clouds re-enter the picture with a chance for some stray showers each day as we find ourselves on the west side of an area of high pressure. If the high pressure is a little further east, we could see some afternoon stray showers. But, if it stays just off the coast, our rain chances will be very limited at best heading into next weekend…
