COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A local child development center is celebrating the opening of its new Columbus location with a ribbon cutting on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Growing Room Child Development Center will hold its grand opening at its newest location at 1600 1st Ave. in Uptown Columbus and The Mill District at 9 a.m., according to CEO of Growing Room Child Development Centers, Brittany Haines.
Haines says the new center, located in the previous TSYS/FIS childcare facility, represents the organization’s efforts of ensuring working families within the Columbus community have access to high-quality childcare and early childhood education.
