COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus man was arrested two weeks after allegedly killing another man at a gas station on the east side of the city.
Columbus police said Samuel A. Lovejoy, 31, was arrested Thursday as a suspect in the fatal shooting of Maceo Ve Aundreas Burton, 48, on April 11. Watch previous coverage of the shooting in the video player above.
Police: Husband charged in deaths of wife, her daughter
According to police, officers responded to the 3800 block of East Livingston Avenue at approximately 4:55 a.m. for a report of the shooting. At the scene, they found Burton suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center at 5:38 a.m.
