NEW ALBANY, Ohio (WSYX) — Shoppers in New Albany will get a first look at a newly renovated Kroger store Friday, May 29, when the company holds a grand re-opening celebration following four months of improvements.
The store, at 5161 Hampsted Village Center Way, will unveil a $1.6 million renovation. Kroger said the event will include opportunities to explore the updates, sample food and take advantage of grand re-opening specials.
Kroger also plans two giveaways during the opening ceremony. The first 50 customers in line by 9 a.m., ahead of the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting on Friday, May 29, will receive a $10 gift. In addition, customers can enter to win free gas for a full month through a card valued at $250. Entries must be submitted at the store before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, and the winner must be present to claim the prize after the drawing during the 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony…
