The possibility of another Buc-ee’s opening in Ohio

OHIO — Less than two months after Buc-ee’s opened its first Ohio location in Huber Heights, attention is already turning to where the Texas-based travel center chain could expand next in the Buckeye State.

The Huber Heights store, which opened in April 2026 along Interstate 70 near Dayton, marked Buc-ee’s entry into Ohio and quickly became one of the company’s most successful openings. Company officials reported that the location generated more than $1 million in sales on its first day, making it Buc-ee’s strongest opening-day performance to date.

While Buc-ee’s has not officially announced a second Ohio location, plans are already being explored in Richland County near Mansfield.
