CLEVELAND (WJW) — It’s that time of the year when the Ohio Division of Wildlife puts out this reminder: Leave fawns alone.
According to the agency, people will typically find baby deer curled up near homes, in backyards or flower beds. While this may seen unusual, experts say this is completely normal and human intervention is not needed.

“The mother placed it there because she felt it would be safe (often intentionally near humans),” the Ohio Division of Wildlife said in a recent social media post.
