‘Thank you for taking care of me’: Columbus teen shot near high school meets first responders who saved him

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A teenager who was shot near Beechcroft High School last year recently met with some of the first responders who helped save his life.

A social media post shared by the Columbus Division of Fire shows Kwabena Asare meeting firefighters at Station 6, north of state Route 161.
