FINDLAY, OH. (WOWO) Two juveniles are facing charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase through multiple Ohio counties early Monday morning, according to the Findlay Police Department.
Traffic stop leads to pursuit
Police tell WLIO the incident began at approximately 12:12 a.m. when officers attempted a traffic stop near Tiffin Avenue and North Blanchard Street in Findlay.
According to authorities, the driver of a Jeep Renegade failed to stop and fled the scene, initiating a pursuit through city streets.
Chase extends across counties
Officials said the vehicle ran multiple stop signs and a red light while traveling at speeds of approximately 50 mph within Findlay city limits.
The pursuit continued into Seneca County, where police reported speeds increased to as high as 115 mph. The vehicle also traveled through Fostoria before returning to Findlay.
