COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A person riding an electric bike is fighting for their life after being struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene in Downtown, Columbus Tuesday night.
According to a Columbus police incident report, a person was operating an Electric-Bike, heading north on South High Street at the Mound Street intersection. The adult entered the intersection with a green light at 10:47 p.m.

At the same time, a white 2016 Chrysler 300 was traveling westbound on East Mound Street, approaching the same intersection. The Chrysler reportedly drove in between two vehicles at the intersection, one that had stopped at the corresponding red light, and another that was slowing to a stop.
The Chrysler allegedly struck the Electric-Bike, causing the adult to be thrown off the vehicle before landing on the northwest corner of the intersection. Arriving medics took the adult to a hospital in life-threatening condition…
