A well-known fried chicken chain has confirmed the closure of the Short North location. OX-B’s will be closing its doors on July 26. The chain announced the closure in a Facebook post.

OX-B’s Chicken Announces Final Day

Central Ohio-based fast-casual restaurant chain OX-B’s is shutting its doors at its Short North Art District location. The restaurant, located at 1177 N. High Street in Columbus, Ohio, will close on Sunday, July 26.

The restaurant built its following with its crispy chicken dishes paired with Southern comfort flavors. Menu items included the original Slopwich, chicken and waffles, and chicken mac bowl.

The restaurant chain shared the closure announcement and a note of gratitude for the community. They said, “Thank you so much for the support over the years at this location, and we hope to see everyone at another OX-B’s location in the future.”…
