COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus man under investigation for possessing sexually explicit materials involving a minor reportedly admitted to raping an underage girl.
According to an incident report, a Franklin County Sheriff’s deputy was investigating a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip helped authorities identify Titus Thomas as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On July 17, Thomas was arrested and a search warrant was executed to seize a phone, which was processed after he agreed to speak with detectives without a lawyer.
