COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A court-ordered evaluation determined that Xiaoke Fan, the woman accused of stealing a car while armed with a rock and causing a fatal wrong-way crash on State Route 315 in May, is competent to stand trial.
Fan appeared in Franklin County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday. Investigators say she hijacked a vehicle near Riverside Methodist Hospital before driving south in the northbound lanes of SR 315 and colliding head-on with another vehicle, killing Columbus assistant city prosecutor Kaitlyn Spahr.
