From the island to the Midwest, these TikTokers are creating questionable content in Columbus.
Florida-grown brothers Alex and Franky Venegas, better known as Flyysoulja and Kodiyakredd, rose to TikTok fame in 2021 after their song “I’m an Island Boy” went viral. Fast forward five years, and The Island Boys are still squeezing out content, clinging on to that last bit of virality.
By some stroke of luck, the Island Boys have decided to grace Central Ohio with their meme-worthy presence. On Instagram, Flyysoulja—with well over 1 million followers—announced a “Who’s the Next Island Boy” Competition held on Sunday, July 26th at Goodale Park. While the video has more than 66,000 views, the turnout seemed to be lackluster—safe to say the next Island Boy is not in Columbus…
