COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — As Franklin County residents clean up from severe storms and flooding that’s caused property damage across the county, the Franklin County Auditor’s Office says property owners may “qualify for a temporary reduction in their auditor’s appraised value if their home, business or other real property was damaged.”
Due to Ohio laws, county auditors can potentially reduce the value of real property that has been damaged or destroyed.
