Woman flung Kroger shopper off hood of her car, then dragged him over 300 feet to his death after fender bender in grocery store parking lot

An Ohio woman has been sentenced for killing a man who tried to confront her after a fender bender in a grocery store parking lot.

Danielle Henry, 35, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide on Aug. 11, less than one year after she was arrested in connection with the death of Ibrahim Diakite. On Oct. 22, 2025, Henry and Diakite got into a minor car accident in the parking lot of a Kroger grocery store in Westerville, Ohio. After Henry drove out of the lot, Diakite drove after her until they were both stopped at a red light at an intersection.

Diakite got out of his car, walked up to Henry’s, and stood in front of her car to keep her from driving away. Police said he climbed onto the hood of her car, and Henry abruptly accelerated, flinging Diakite off the car…
