COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — For decades, the Sawyer Towers stood over the east side of Columbus as more than just two apartment buildings.

For the people who grew up around them, they were a landmark that told them they were home.

Now, with the towers demolished, former residents are reflecting on what the buildings and the surrounding neighborhood meant to them, while a Columbus filmmaker works to make sure those memories are not lost…
