Proposal would change bass fishing regulations

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) — A recent proposal, if passed, would remove many site-specific length restrictions and daily bag limits for certain species of bass.

The Ohio Wildlife Council received a proposal to remove many site-specific length restrictions and daily bag limits for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass, referred to collectively as black bass by ODNR.

Locally, the change would impact Highlandtown Lake, Guilford Lake, and Zepernick Lake, all of which are in Columbiana County…
