COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A gravel parking lot in the Arena District is slated to become a two-building, 242-unit apartment development after the Columbus Downtown Commission approved the redevelopment Sept. 22.
Nationwide Realty Investors, the real estate development affiliate of Nationwide Insurance, plans to build One Twenty Vine at 154 Vine St., on the block between Kilbourne and Armstrong streets. The property would be readdressed as 120 Vine St. after its nine parcels and portions of surrounding right-of-way are combined.
The buildings would rise seven stories, with five floors of wood construction above a two-story podium. Plans call for apartments without retail space, along with a leasing office, fitness center and resident lounge on the first floor. The existing lot is used for public parking.
One Twenty Vine would include 56 enclosed parking spaces on its first floor and connect to the neighboring Kilbourne Garage through a third-floor skywalk, according to the plans. See the latest NBC4 headlines in the video player above. …
