A childhood lesson in the power of community support inspired Martha Campbell of Uhrichsville to spend decades giving back, a commitment that has now earned her one of Ohio State University’s highest alumni honors.
Campbell was named the 2026 Ohio State University Alumni Association’s Robert M. Duncan Alumni Citizenship Award winner, according to a community announcement. The award recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves through service to humanity and who exemplify the university’s motto, Education for Citizenship, through significant volunteer service beyond their professional responsibilities.
