A Wayne County veteran has been selected for one of Ohio’s highest honors for military service and community achievement.
De Ann M. Williams, who served in both the Army and Navy, is among 20 Ohioans chosen for induction into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Class of 2026, according to a community announcement. The honor recognizes veterans who have made significant contributions in their communities after leaving military service.
Williams joins veterans from 14 counties across the state who will be formally inducted during the Hall of Fame’s 35th annual ceremony scheduled for Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St., on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus. The event is open to the public…
