WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II announced that a Groveport, Ohio, man was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution.
According to court documents and statements made in court, 42-year-old Robert L. Bruce, also known as “Miami,” sold methamphetamine in Marshall County, West Virginia.
During the investigation, Bruce’s vehicle was searched, and officers found nearly 800 grams of methamphetamine hidden in the engine compartment.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided.
