Adult found with gunshot wound after crashing into cars in east Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — One person was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being found by officers inside a car with a gunshot wound in east Columbus.

Just after 12:45 a.m., officers went to the 2400 block of Kimberly Parkway East in the Eastland neighborhood, Columbus police said. Officers arrived and saw multiple parked vehicles had been hit by another car. Inside the car that crashed into the parked vehicles was an unresponsive adult who had been shot.

Columbus homicide case of man shot while napping in car remains unsolved

CPD said the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. According to Columbus police, the victim is not likely to survive.
