COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) – Discount giant Walmart announced Friday that it plans to close its store at 3579 South High Street this month. That location is in south Columbus, and a Walmart spokesman said in a news release that the store “hasn’t performed as well as we hoped, and we made the decision to not renew the lease.”
