COLUMBUS, Ohio – Before the long-awaited total solar eclipse event on April 8, it’s important to secure your eclipse glasses ahead of time so you can watch it all unfold. The totality path of the 2024 solar eclipse is expected to be about 124 miles wide and will stretch across 13 states, from Texas to New Hampshire. In Ohio, the point of greatest duration for the eclipse will be in Avon Lake, in Lorain County, located 23 miles west of Cleveland.
