Two men critically injured after Franklinton shooting near bar

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Two men have been hospitalized after being shot early Sunday morning in the Franklinton neighborhood, located west of downtown Columbus.

According to a police dispatcher, officers were sent to the 900 block of Sullivant Avenue near The Patio Bar just after 2:45 a.m. Two men were found injured from gunshot wounds, police said.

Both victims were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

Due to the severity of the victims’ injuries, the Columbus Division of Police’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting.

Police said there is no motive for the shooting and no suspects at this time.
