COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – A man accused of twice raping a woman with cerebral palsy was arrested over the weekend.
According to court documents, police arrived at a home in the Holly Hill neighborhood of west Columbus on Dec. 30 on reports of a missing person. While on the scene, the woman returned home on foot and told police she had been raped.

A police report states that the victim, 26, said she was raped twice, once on Dec. 16 and again on the day she was reported missing. The woman, who police said has cerebral palsy with cognitive delays, identified Marcos Martinez Ramos as the person who assaulted her.
The report said that Ramos, 33, had befriended the victim through social media and arrived at her home on Dec. 16 at about 7 a.m. He allegedly pushed her into her bedroom and raped her before leaving. She told police that Ramos said if she told anyone, he would kill her and her mother.
Two weeks later, Ramos reportedly arrived at the home again at about 6 a.m. and told the woman to come outside. Police said Ramos then drove the woman approximately seven miles away to a hotel, raped her, struck her multiple times, and pushed her head into a toilet.
