Along with its fried chicken and fried chicken sandwiches, the restaurant serves Southern-style sides such as greens, mac and cheese, Texas potatoes, coleslaw, cornbread and mashed potatoes. Customers can order their fried chicken not spicy, “Tennessee Mild” or “Nashville Hot.” The restaurant also offers red velvet cake, honey bun cake and banana pudding for dessert.

The new location will have counter service and a drive thru and will offer delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash. The Crispy Coop owner and operator, Andrew Cleary, said the restaurant is planning to open in early spring.

The Crispy Coop was created by the former owners of an Uncle Nick’s Greek Fried Chicken franchise. Cleary said he ran the franchise for five years before branching out and opening his own fried chicken spot in 2020.
