Woman stabbed multiple times near Easton Town Center hotel

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – A woman has been hospitalized after a Friday morning stabbing on the east side of the city.

According to Columbus police, just before 7:30 a.m., a woman walked into an urgent care on Stelzer Road after being stabbed multiple times. Medics transported her to Mount Carmel East. Her condition is unknown, but she is reportedly undergoing surgery at the hospital.

A couple of miles north from the urgent care, officers were also called to Aloft hotels on Brighton Rose Way at Easton Town Center in what is believed to be a scene related to the stabbing.

No suspect information was available as the investigation remains ongoing.
