Five injured after multi-vehicle crash in north Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – Five people are injured after a crash involving multiple vehicles in north Columbus on Friday evening.

The crash occurred on the 1200 block of Morse Road at about 6:57 p.m., according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Three people were transported to Riverside Hospital and two people were transported to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center — all five people are in stable condition, according to Columbus police. Multiple people had to be extracted from their vehicles, Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter said.

Law enforcement officials have not released any further information as of 8:50 p.m.
