Columbus and Central Ohio Weather
Winter made a strong comeback this weekend with 2 to 5 inches of snow (6 to 9 inches north/northeast fell in a narrow band).
A cold northwesterly wind dropped wind chills into the single digits Saturday, and expect a cold night ahead, with readings dipping to between 10 and 15 degrees.
An area of low pressure tracking north of the Great Lakes will bring some patchy clouds on Sunday and maintain breezy conditions, with high pressure situated to the south of Ohio. Winds from the southwest will push temperatures into the seasonable upper 30s.
A more significant warming trend will take hold next week, as temperatures rebound into the 40s and then the 50s. Skies will be mostly sunny, followed by clouds moving in on Wednesday.
Showers are likely late at night and on Thursday ahead of a low-pressure system. Colder weather will return next weekend behind a strong cold front crossing the state on Friday when snow showers are possible.
