Local 4-H students sell big at Ohio State Fair Sale of Champions

COLUMBUS, OH (WLIO) – Some local 4-H students benefit from the Ohio State Fair Sale of Champions. Braxton Method from Auglaize County got $7,000 for his reserve grand champion market goat. Ava Shroyer from Logan County got $13,000 for her grand champion market lamb. Lilly Elsass from Auglaize County and Aubree Topp from Shelby County were recognized for their dairy championship cows, and the milk from their cows and the five other dairy champions produced a Swiss cheese that sold for $32,500. The grand total of the sale raised $260,000. $134,000 of that total goes to help Ohio youth in agriculture.
