Joel Klatt Lets It Slip on The Colin Cowherd Show: Ohio State-Oregon Set for NBC Primetime

Fox analyst Joel Klatt took the low chair for a 10-minute segment on the Colin Cowherd Show this morning, and the two talked about the Penn State offense and the imposing talent on the Ohio State defense, but during the conversation he casually gave away the deets on the biggest game of the year.

Ohio State meets Oregon on October 12th. The game will be on NBC in prime time, kickoff at 4:30 P.M. Pacific, part of what the Peacock Network calls “Big Ten Saturday Night.”

It’s been suspected for a while that the titanic Midwest Blueblood-Upstart Team Out West confrontation would be a night game, but Klatt’s casual aside confirms it. His network doesn’t have the game, ABC doesn’t have the game; it’s the new kids with the shiny new contract broadcasting from Autzen Stadium.

Now we just have to figure out if Tosh Lupoi can crack the code on Chip Kelly’s high-powered offense.
